Background: I have a long love of and experience with photography, starting from the time I was in school. I have also studied media, including photography, at university.
Approach: I love elegance and simplicity in the subjects I choose and choose appropriate equipment and techniques which will serve to accentuate those characteristics.
Special Interests: I love nature photography, especially recurring patterns, textures and lighting, again trying to stress the simplicity and elegance of the subject while accentuating its character. Historical photo restoration is another special area of interest.
Photo Equipment and Skills: I use a variety of photographic equipment and techniques to get the image I want, usually 35 mm and Pentax 6X7 and Yashica 6X6 cameras. Since most of my work is now related to electronic media, this is usually accomplished through 35mm cameras and digital tools.

Computers and software are now an integral part of my photographic work. They are employed to manipulate, enhance, store and transmit the photos I take. They also provide a high degree of flexibility and the possibility of much greater control/manipulation and enhancement to bring the image to its final desired state.
