Print-based Materials:

I have been involved in the design, development, production and evaluation of many types of print products including letters, brochures, newsletters, manuals and books, created for individuals, government agencies, non-profit agencies, and corporations.

As with any other type of communication, print materials must have goals and objectives, approaches and treatments. It must have a needs analysis then good design based on the needs of the communicator and the target audience. It must also undergo a development process which includes writing, editing, artwork, photography, layout, etc., all professionally- related considerations.

Print components are often related to other media items such as audio, video and web sites. In such cases, it is necessary to understand how and why the media are to be co-ordinated for maximum effect and efficiency.
